Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Hayden Panettiere lighting up the screen as the indestructible cheerleader Claire Bennet in Heroes.

In the new show you'll see her leap from tall buildings and walk through burning buildings, but in real life how does she feel about doing those scary stunts and putting on all that gory make-up?

"I LOVE doing that kind of stuff. That is just right up my alley," she told www.superherohype.com. "I know it's really gory, and a lot of people's stomachs will probably not like me for it, but that is just awesome, just being able to be bloodied up and have different body parts put on. That's right up my alley. It's so awesome."
