Why is it that Men aren't Men anymore?

Where has society gone wrong? Where is a man who is honorable, honest, hardworking and proves himself worthy of having a quality woman as his partner!?!?

In todays society I see it all the time! Everywhere!

• I see women picking up the tab!
• I see women holding doors open for men
• Women allowing men to go in the door first
• Women Going above and beyond to make their undeserving men happy

Yes- we strive for equality..but that doesn't mean that men shouldn't be gentlemen! That walking a woman home and making sure she gets their safely should be disregarded and considered old fashion!

Many times I encounter men who I later date - that seem to have forgotten these simple everyday mannerisms! Later when I question them -after having to remind them that as the male they should have common mannerisms when trying to court me- I throw the question out there as to why they didn't do these things from the beginning! They simply say...because it was never expected of them!

Common reasons why men seem to not act in a Chivalristic Manner:

• Its not expected
• They never had to before
• Women put out anyways - no effort is needed
• They never had to work for a womans respect, time and affection
• No woman has been worthy of respect - they are easy lays - you don't respect that
• Women should respect themselves if they want to be respected
• Women want me as much or more than I want them - so they should pay for me~

These same women are the ones that find themselves with a live in boyfriend who doesn't seem to want to propose or marry anytime soon... hhmmmm I wonder why!

Women - with equal rights you didn't become androgynous - you can be a lady and still independent- The era of the eye candy bimbo vs the independent woman shouldn't be the question-
Bimbo or Successful woman - Make sure your not lowering the bar for Men to play their roles of men! Really the door isn't that hard to open it... they can and should still be able to do that!

So I guess I answered my own question..men aren't men anymore because women allow them not to be~ infact they encourage them! Way to go ladies! Job well done...your daughters will be thankful!
