Daniel Radcliffe: richest kid on the bloc

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is set to become the richest teenager in England later this year when he gains access to his 20 million pound fortune (pounds are what they use instead of dollars in England).

While the 17-year-old says he has gotten used to the fame that comes with starring in six magical blockbusters, Daniel says he hopes people won't try to be his friend just because of his money.

Daniel - who later this month will take to the stage for a play in London - was paid 60,000 pounds (that's about $150,000 Australian dollars!) for his first performance as the boy wizard in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Wow - that's a whole lot of Paddle Pops...
